Aerial view of the old Kitwanga River counting weir, located further upstream in the watershed. The KRSEF replaced this structure, which operated for 3 seasons.
Most bull trout are sampled for length and weight before being released downstream.
This large cottonwood tree has been wedged into the falls at least since 2008, making it even more difficult for fish to moved past the falls. GFA attempted to cut the log out in 2010.
